Carli’s Angels

The person behind the wings

A story worth sharing.

Carli’s experience gives this community its purpose: helping people feel heard, understood, and less alone.

The person behind the wings

Meet Carli.

Carli Clement, founder of Carli’s Angels

Carli Clement

Founder & hydrocephalus advocate

A lived experience.
A voice for others.

Carli knows what it means to miss a celebration, spend a holiday in a hospital, or return to school after brain surgery. Those experiences helped shape Carli’s Angels: a community built on understanding and the belief that nobody should feel alone.

By sharing her story and bringing people together, Carli gives hydrocephalus patients and their families a positive, active voice.

“My goal is to help people, their families and their friends facing these challenges and let them know that they are NOT alone!”— Carli, from her original message to the community

Using her voice

From personal experience to public advocacy.

In September 2014, Carli spoke to members of Congress about life with hydrocephalus and the need for greater awareness and research. Her speech is part of the history of Carli’s Angels—and a reminder of why patient voices matter.
